Dear Parents
How are you? We are students from the GLPS camp.Our names are 최혜림, 김수현, 노유정, and정세라. Today, we are writing letters to tell you about prisoners of education. Many students are suffering for their homework and lots of work such as studying.
Playgrounds are becoming empty and students cannot get away for studying. In OECD country, Korea's suicide rate is the highest because of too much studying. So they students are very stressed and some students even choose to kill themselves.
Many students are attending private educational institutions, studying at school and doing homework. Some students just sleep for only 3 to 4 hours even they are growing up. It's because they don't have enough free time to finish their work. According to a survey of 홍익 university, even the Korean economy is getting terrible,academies are earning the money. This is because many parents are sending their kids there to make their sons become the best of the world.
Because of these parents, students are becoming rebellious. They play secretly and try to get out of their home. Also, they try to stop studying and just play. Adolescents and students are starting to change. We should make them have better lives. Parents who are living all around the world, please read this letter and think about this serious topic. Maybe your sons and daughters will follow just like this way. Thank you.
